the importance of grace

grace is about being humble through each of your endeavors. integrity that holds you to a higher standard. no matter what you want to do in your life time, you will never have fully "arrived" and you can always do and be better than the day before. look up to people you want to one day be like but remember that sometimes even your own role models will let you down. they may not have EVERY characteristic that you thought you once wanted...but that is when you realize you are growing and becoming your own person!! you will never be like anyone else, what a blessing :)

grace goes to school in north carolina and has been and always will be one of my very best friends. we may not always know what is going on in each other's life, the small failures and victories, but i love how much she challenges me and my thinking. her intelligence is astounding and it reminds me that if i am going to stand for something then i should know why and to always be learning, never settle for less than your best. we don't always see eye to eye but i know she still loves me no matter what my views are and i'm so thankful for her.

grace is forgiveness. when we are on our road to "self-discovery," especially in college, a mistake should be considered a gift. another opportunity to learn about yourself and your environment. never look at something small but always take a step back and check out the big perspective! it's much more appealing and comforting anyway!! forgiving yourself can also be so difficult but to avoid that, put your best foot forward, no regrets, work as hard as you know that you can so you won't look back and say you could have done more. but if you mess up along the way, chin up! it's not the end of the world, handle every situation the best that you know you can.

grace that God shows us is so comforting because through all that we do, we know that he loves us, we aren't perfect, he died for us! so that we can be forgiven for our mistakes and CONQUERED THE GRAVE!! he rose again and lives in each of us daily and we are to be christ-like in all ways, curious, confident and courageous. happy easter to my easter people. god bless and "si se puede!" ;)
